Red Bull RB10 Renault

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

I noticed the same. Comparing it to the Jerez pictures, it seems it's just a optical illusion from the camera angle.
(or it's now pointing the other direction :wtf: )

Yes.

I think is camera angle and ellipse shape of outer edge of hot air "cannon" exit on that angle provide nice optical illusion. I believe there RB had exhaust in the centerline.

That crash structure shaping is going to direct that exhaust plume pretty high I reckon.

So is there any Information witch of the 2 Packages they brought was used Today?

Seeing they cut a Hole in the Sidepod again makes me slightly nervous.

Apparently they used the old package from Jerez today, as there is no visible difference. Maybe we will see the other package tomorrow as they again had to cut out some holes...

Issues persist for the RB10. Looks like it could be back to the drawing board with this car. I expect we will see an RB10-B later in the season as it seems the design of this car is fundamentally flawed from a cooling perspective.

Bahrain does not have same pitlane garage doors than Jerez.

I think that is reflection of pit garage entry. We didn't have reflection confusion on this forum for a while time. 8)

Oh, my apologies for my absolute stupidity
But I just thought they thought of punching holes due to overheating inside the sidepod..

Not exactly the same and in a slighty different location to what we saw in Jerez:
