Why is session not going to be restarted?? There's 1.38 on the lock and out-lap can be only 1.15-1.20. This isn't spa in the wet with 2m30s outlaps. Seriously?
Is that official ?

Said this would be carnage. Gonna be a messy q3 as they all go for it
This just shows how are the drivers unfit to drive at tracks that doesnt have all runoffs and sides paved with tarmac. For years they drove off track limits without losing time and control and now it is biting them hard.

I hope Mercedes gets outqualified by Ferrari and Gasly, we need a buffer in case anyone wants to cause a "happy accident".

There is a W Series race and F3 race that need to start on time after F1 qualifying.

Masi continuing with his "splendid" job of missmanaging the session... Just unbeliveable.

Well the graphic saying this did pop up soon after red flag.

With slow driving on pit exit and slow traffic building space towards the last corner, I doubt more than 2 or 3 will be positioned to take advantage.

F1 does not get priority for track time over W series and F3. F1 cannot cause delays for other categories. There is only a 30 minute allowance between F1 Qualifying and the W Series race. You can't keep extending the F1 session indefinitely.

Masi is such a clown
How's that ?
The red ?
Lot of debris in the corner that could use a couple of brushes ..
There was nothing when he stopped it as Russell hadn't come back on track, so he called the red prematurely - and keeping it red for that long because of a few pebbles on track is just ridiculous.

What happens to the race start tires now? Most teams would have been on used sets for a banker lap.

Of course it does. Imagine this being Q3 with 2 minutes on the clock, you seriously believe they wouldn't wait for 2 hours if neccesary to repair the track or whatever? I, and I suspect many more, could care less about F3 or W series.

Max was half a second faster than Lewis in S1 in Q2! Crazy advantage! 24.0 vs 24.5
