From what Leclerc and Cardile said the main goal of the car was to have a stable platform to be way more consistent in race trim.

Here’s to hoping that they are clear second best in race trim, and are getting on RB's nerves on specific circuits. Anything on top would be a bonus.

This is not the best sign so far. It will hopefully be better but we'll see.
I'm not pessimistic. How can I be, if the car hasn't even been on the track? I just said that in terms of technical solutions there is nothing on the SF-24 that excites me. Aston Martin, for example, impressed me the most. Does this mean that Ferrari will be behind Aston in Bahrain? No

Eh, I'm tired of having big "innovations" in winter rumor mills and first pictures only for them not to pan out by the first race.

I don't think the SF-23 concept was "wrong" per se and I don't think Ferrari does either. If they fix the weak points of last year's car through refinement of what we can't see, I'm all for it.

It's a bit strange. The car looks somehow as if it's design has only caught up to last year's RB:

1) Added RB19 sidepod inlet underbite
2) Added RB19 undercut sidepod
3) Added plain mirror covers from RB19.
4) Added engine cover exits from RB19.
5) Narrower gearbox as RB19

Yet RB have advanced forward a year from that design. This is a car that Ferrari claimed would not be a RB copy but it somehow feels that way? Considering the design direction, it has great potential to be a very fast car, but I wonder if it can be as fast as RB if the starting point is a bit like an older RB.

Indeed. To me it looks pretty much like launch spec RB19 conceptually save for the s-duct.

That's a good looking livery with the exception of the wheel covers which are a bit much. Cant believe I'm saying this with all the carbon-specials this season but there is almost too much color on this car. They should have just had stipes on the wheelcovers

So Leclerc said the data in the SIM is excellent.

The SF 23 must have been a disaster lmao

Ok he said they focused mainly on improving drivability while also adding downforce but drivability was the main focus. On the Sim the results have been excellent by following this approach. Waiting for Bahrain to confirm these improvements and see where they are compared to the others.

The biggest weakness of the SF 23 was the fact that it was almost impossible to extract the full potential of the car on a regular basis and without take massive risks.
He doesn't know where the others will be in terms of pure performance.

Tired of the matte colour scheme.. There is nothing more good looking than a Ferrari F1 in glossy red. Wish they would limit how much a livery can be used for weight savings…

It's the sponsor decals. There are too many.

I like the livery, but When they mentioned more white, I was hoping for more of the Vegas livery with the white rear wing, and circle numbers. With yellow, they could have gone more the Monza 2023 (LeMans inspired). But I do like it. I guess it's a balance between the two.

As far as the car, I hear Charles is satisfied. This is good news. And from the early shakedown videos... it does look more stable on the straights compared to the SF23.
