If everything goes to plan, but it is a high deg track and it's hot, so if they flat spot or have to fight too much it won't take much for it to be a two stopper, I feel that there is a very good chance of many cars going to two stop.
Problem is the pit was extended this year, the pit loss is now a extra 5 seconds..so a 27sec pit time, hopefully I’m wrong and we get a mix up
. I think the outlaps will be super essential today, bringing in the fronts gently. especially with these long corners and heat.
I didn't mention it but I factored it in. What benefits this track is that overtaking is easier, track position is not so important and DRS is powerful so I'm certain we will see a few two stoppers and I'm thinking it might be a more popular strategy than that. But I think it will be a very good race either way, I'd just rather see racing than tyre management which a one stop will need a lot of to make it work.
Given how easily cars have been lost with tailwinds I also think there are going to be some tyres ruined, forcing the situatiion.
