I used to be a hater of Alonso. He beat my boy MSC in a awesome 2006 season.
Then in 2007 I became a fan of Hamilton, and tbh I thought Alonso was better that season, I loved it when Mclaren were obviously favoring Hamilton. My hating on Alonso continued till about 2015, (even when I disliked him, I still thought he was probably the best driver even better than Hamitlon because of how consistant he was).
But around that time I started to put my hate aside and thought damn he is actually really good, and noticed the british media would always paint him in a negative light.
That despite having inferior machinery he would still push and dominate his team mates.
Now I look at him as someone who should have 5 plus championships and a lot more race wins.
Now I just want him in a car that can compete for podiums and wins, because despite his age, these new fans have no idea what a racing and point scoring machine he is. IMO if he was in this years Mclaren he would be a lot closer to Max in points than what Norris is.
Im no fanboy, but i have to respect his talent. With his drive and motivation I am sure he can keep this level up, especially for 2026
