McLaren MCL35M

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Any pics?
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

Has anyone noticed if McLaren reduced the size of the hot air outlets at the back of the car this morning?
From what I could briefly see, it appears that this is the case. Still, no comparison pictures as of yet.

Yes they have two options at this test, one is narrower than the other.

No need to apologize, I was just asking. The angle from today isn't helping either. I may be confusing gaps and shadows with each other

A little idea: why not using the liquid that can be seen only under black lights? Noone would be able to see the flow pattern, except the team in the garage.
Teams sometimes use a liquid that can only be seen under ultraviolet light.
Didnt know that, thank you for the information. I guess they prefer simpler solution since it is easier to look at.
If i would get the money to start my own F1 team, i would revive Arrows
