Normally the race in Barcelona is quite boring. Today, however, all sorts of things happened. I saw a really nice, surprising race. =D>
Nice that RBR has scored another 1-2. Max was lucky that Leclerc got a DNF with the faster car, but Max has already retired twice through no fault of his own.
Also nice to read several posts here in this race topic about Max's win, the third in a row.
Oh wait. You mustn't be in this race topic for that, because completely different things are discussed here. Unfortunately. :(

Wasn’t that when he was stuck behind George?
Mess with the Bull - you get the horns.

Russell cooked his tyres in front of Verstappen and had heat warning problems in the car… of course Ham was lapping faster than George.

He had a great drive but I think it’s unfair to George who also had a great drive.

All the people comparing Hamilton to Russell pace when they were on totally, absolutely different situation during the race... it's nonsense.

Sainz is useless. Ferrari should give a test to Nyck de Vries (Mercedes is too blind to notice his talent) or Oscar Piastri.
so by your logic merc should just dump ham and hire a rookie to replace him...... glad youre not working at any capacity with the team...
And by your logic keep the 37 year old Hamilton costing 50 million per annum to finish in 5th place. Hamilton getting his arse whipped every race by 1st year man George Russell. De Vries in winter testing last year was only one tenth slower than Hamilton. I am convinced De Vries is a super talent.

Sainz has admitted once again that his driving style doesn't suit the Ferrari.
Maybe alfa or hass would suit him much better

Sainz would be a good fit at Alfa with Bottas. Guanyou Zhou is only there so that Alfa can sell cars in China

IMO teams are often compromised with bad/pay drivers. Hass was lucky to get Kmag this year.

You cant compare those laptimes realistically. They both had great races respectively, theres never going to be a 1 second lap time delta between them in comparable conditions

This line-up would be so mid but at the same time so effective for the WCC

So being tagged on lap 1 and getting a puncture, and then gaining 45 second on your team mate in 60 laps is gettin whipped is it. Ok. there a circumstances during a race, other than just driver ability, that affect the result. And George was 0.1 faster on quali pace all weekend, again, not really a whipping.

That was when Russell was defending against Max, which he knew not to have a functioning DRS. So that is quite a unique situation where you can then harvest all lap to use it up on the straight. Which is very detrimental to overall pace ofcourse. He harvested much less when checo was at his tail as checo did have drs and could also easily sail by. Max was at least 3 times on the tail of George coming on to the straight and the DRS would just not open. Argh.
