Very bad degradation with the soft tyre

We don't know the fuel loads, but deg on the C3 is worse than Red Bull (a lot), Mercedes, Ferrari and McLaren - although ALO had the freshest tyres with the least laps...

What was the times for Alonso on soft?

started high 36s, pretty quick in the 37s.

Others had older tyres on the stint start and started the stint earlier, nevertheless they had better deg compared to ALO. STR is not that useful, as I believe that he doesn't feel comfortable in the car.

No change there - everyone bar the team owner seems to know it.

How was tyre deg last year at this track for them? I thought they were pretty neat on the hards from memory but cant recall the soft tyre.

They qualified P5 last year right?

Would be very interested if they could better that in quali this year- I’m sure their race stint should be decent on the C1.

Well, looking at all the times now, it's still not good, but the fuel level could draw a different picture.

I suspect that McLaren is lighter for example looking at their times. Too fast at the beginning from PIA, too god deg for NOR.

No way, not going to happen. Even P7 would be a good qualy

Alosno had a lock up on lap 6 of stint in turn 8. 1:37:605 was lap time. Maybe compromised his lap times after that...

Alonso smoked the tyres under his stins. That's why pretty quick 37.

Interesting. So in testing Aston seemed one of the best in terms of tire deg.
Now on the bad side?
