Guys, please, keep it civil. What is with trying to beat other members into submission lately?
The opinions of other members are theirs, it is not helping the discussion to suggest that they are not right/allowed or that they have to change them.

and that's your opinion of him, because that's what you wanna see
if you know him better (maybe more personally) you might change your mind, but are you willing to?
I am a fan of F1 and that's the only connect and I really don't care what an individual's character traits are. I am only obligated to respect the craft in this sport.

I like all the great talents of this sport, including Max, but that doesn't blind me towards the stupidity one displays. I admire Clark, Fangio, Niki, Senna, Schumacher, Alonso, Hamilton, Vettel and Max. Each one of them are amazing drivers, but equally, most of them have displayed ridiculous behavior at various stages of their career on a personal level. I laugh at such things and have no obligation to defend such behavior ONLY because I admire their craft.

verstappen vs vettel second stint battle:

Vettel got saved there by the racing point holding up verstappen just enough time
I wonder if Verstappen would have been better keeping his powder dry and just sticking behind the Ferrari and getting him into turn 1?

With that said even if Verstappen has got past Vettel I’m not sure how he could have defended against a Ferrari with DRS on those 2 straights back to back?

1 Lewis Hamilton MERCEDES 1:32:06.350
2 Valtteri Bottas MERCEDES +6.552s
3 Sebastian Vettel FERRARI +13.744s
4 Max Verstappen RED BULL RACING HONDA +27.627s
5 Charles Leclerc FERRARI +31.276s
6 Pierre Gasly RED BULL RACING HONDA +89.307s
7 Daniel Ricciardo RENAULT +1 lap
Real limits of the Renault engine performance !? I mean a Haas or Toro Rosso in that position of leading the "middle" group, it will not finish getting lapped in position 7.

Can someone take down that russian assasin name "torpedo". His only job on planet is to keep others from racing. Worst Product of a failed drivers program at " red bull". More he tries to prove that desrves to be in f1, more he deserves to be in formula E.

I still laugh at the thought of it being used as his nickname when they did the big intros by Michael Buffer in the 2017 US GP. Talk about missing the point.

Daniil ‘The Torpedo’ Kvyat

Great race by Ham and Kimi. Ham deserved it. winner of the 1000th race sounds good.

Kimi nicely passed same cars twice :) with a better strat he would finished in front of perez..

This is why I dont like Ferrari. They throw Lec under the bus for no reason. Maybe it is in Vettel's contract to have special treatment if he qualifies front.. whatever. Other teams dont do it this early in the season. Peah...

It's too early for gnashing of teeth over ferrari's prospects they still have a good chance to win the championship.
If they get their act together in the next 3 races and get 3 x 1-2 then they are back in the fight.

Anyhow i find it interesting how Leclerc started to go faster and they still put Vettel ahead. Ves was 2 seconds behind but i don't think he would have been a threat.
For Sure!!

I wondered who was sponsoring his 'travels' with F1? Yes, I know he can easily afford it, but why do the circuit and hang about at the dirty end if you can be at the champaign end? A selfie stick and a couple of thousand subscribers?
He must have better things to do with his time, or if not there must be someone who will pay lots for his pr services.
When arguing with a fool, be sure the other person is not doing the same thing.

Rosberg has been entering a bunch of businesses mostly on the electric car space it seems. He's been using YouTube both as a marketing platform and as a hobby I guess.

The F1 stuff is probably sponsored by Sky (the travel part). He doesn't vlog all races on location (only where he was a pundit so far this year). Most of his F1 vlogs have been wherever he was.

He's been fond of vlogging even before he retired. I guess he's just able to do it more seriously since leaving the sport as a driver.

His podcasts are also good listens too.
