Russell wont be able to defend down that straight with no DRS.
Yes, 100m longer than last year. Worked very well in Monza, +50% more overtakes on main straight
Be no problem with overtakes then.
Exactly. I expect Russell to struggle with T16 exit after a few laps and Max will take him then at the latest.
if RUS is the meat in that DRS sandwich, it is going to take only one lap to remain like that. 2km straight is going to be a breeze for the low-DF Mercedes to get past a high-DF Redbull that is ahead without DRS for itself.
This is exactly what I wrote before qualy, that why didn't they try the Perez setup in FP3? Why start qualy.blindly on new setup?Sergej wrote: ↑14 Sep 2024, 17:22"I would rather just put it back [to the previous setup]. But that's not possible now. I'm bummed out that I went in that direction, normally it can be positive, only on a bumpy street circuit it's just too extreme.
You can't change anything about it now, so you have to make the best of it and hope it's a bit better at the beginning with more fuel. After that you drive the tank empty and the problem is bound to come back. We'll see."
amazing
I repeat, target is to arrive ahead of Norris, everything more is just a bonus
