Sutil is destined for Williams, and Bottas will remain as TD as he was used as the bait for Kimi to get him to soften his posistion.
ESP, are these rumours implying that FI purposefully held Di Resta back, helping Sutil to look good in the eyes of any potential new employers for next year?
I don't really buy it, if that's the case.
Although highly unlikely if some of the top drivers had dropped out in Brasil, FI could have overtaken Renault in the constructors.
I don't think they would risk losing points just to get a driver (supposedly) on his way out a drive somewhere else.
I think Sutil beat Di Resta fair and square - AGAIN.
Sutil has always been quick, for some reason he just couldn't get to grips with the car at the start of the season but that's clearly no longer a problem.
He was the driver of the day for me today in Brazil - a really great performance.
The guy brings money with him from Medion, he's quick and he's reliable.
He's probably the best driver FI are able to get in one of their seats at the moment, why dump him?
If they really need to replace someone (which they don't), then why not replace di Resta with Hulkenburg.
After all, Hulkenburg has been quicker in a lot of the free practice sessions.
I think that Hulkenburg is probably bullying them into giving him a seat a bit, he probably had something in his contract when he joined the team or else he's threatening to just walk away if not offered a drive.
Seriously though, where else could he go, he seems to have put all his eggs in one basket for next year.
If Sutil is the one who loses his seat at FI, I think that Williams should snap him up.
I'd like to see carrying this form through next year and as Ringo said hopefully being in a position to replace Massa at Ferrari.
I think that Sutil would be a perfect no. 2 to Alonso and could actually give him quite a run for his money.
In my opinion, he is quicker than Massa, who if carries on like he has next year, should be dropped.
Whatever happens, I really hope that Sutil gets a break soon.
I'm not really a Sutil fan but to me he is one of the most underrated driver of recent times.
He's been stuck in a bad to decent car for years now and has consistently put in quick, reliable performances, only to be passed over by the big teams year after year.
Actually his career reminds me a lot of Button's.
For how many years was Button overlooked but look where he is now - I just hope Sutil gets his break too.
As for HRT, why have Alguersuari in the 2nd seat? - I don't think he really brings enough to HRT's table - they need money and experience - both of which he doesn't really have.
Surely after signing de la Rosa, HRT really need someone who brings some serious cash with him?
I don't think that simply being Spanish is enough to get Jaime a seat there.
I think he'll stay at STR, to be joined by Ricciardo.
STR need to keep one of their existing drivers, so that they have some constant to compare the new driver to.
No good putting Vergne and Ricciardo together at STR just yet, we'll just have another repeat of the Alguersuari/Buemi scenario and once again we'll be left wondering how good they actually are and how good the car is.
