I havent seen that kind of thing for at least 30 years. A car crashing and splitting in two on a huge explosion.Shows how much F1 has progressed from the 80s. Grosjean would be dead on an 80s car.
What does having Turbo’s has anything to do with what happened to Gro? The car went through the barriers, nothing to do with the PU’s having a Turbo.
Agree that this crash on an 80’s car would have probably been the end of his life... I think that even with today’s technology and safety improvements on the cars, Romain was still very lucky to come out of this accident alive.
