Taking that as a win today for Max/RB. Great drive in a car thats a bit of a turd at the minute. Hopefully its a turning point as very comparable on the hard tyre in the end.

Stunning weekend by Max, losing only 7 points here is really beyond expectations, kudos also to the technical team which overhauled the car after Friday

McLaren's pace was absurd but we saw that Lando cracked three times with no pressure and a rocketship under his ass, give Max a decent car with that fuc*ing Austin correction and we'll have fun.

That was an utterly horrific race. Red Bull would need a C-spec (not even a B-spec) car in Austin.

if max wins the championship this year, he'll accomplish something that no one has ever done before. to win overcoming such massive deficit in terms of car performance would be just incredible. I'm quite sure Mclaren had the fastest car already in Monaco and should've won there as well, and frankly pretty much each and every race since Miami.

They will also bring significant upgrades to Austin, so Red Bull tech team needs all and more.

Mclaren can and should win every race from here on out. There's no upgrade in the world to compete with this. Red Bull killed their chances with 3-4 months of false updates. Max will be fighting with Ferrari and Mercedes. He can't get P2 every weekend. In fact, it's more likely that there will be weekends with 10-15 point losses. There are 3 sprint weekends left. Red Bull is awful on sprint weekends.

We're watching a championship being lost in slow motion. It is inevitable. At the end of the season, if you re-arrange the races, it will become clear how obvious it was. The first 5 race "dominance" is a fallacy. The championship is decided by the result of all 24 results. It doesn't matter if you sprinted at the start when you can't follow through for the finish.
