Norris was on new tyres.

They are out on used softs now.

Not wasting tyres but getting some practise in.

They had no new softs left. They will have one set now in Q3.

But seeing that both Ferrari and Red Bull are struggling, the team is doing so well. I think we have a fair shot at pole. I think Norris takes it.

A shame it will rain now, we are good in the dry.

The rain might help us get pole.

Whatever it takes. A 1-2 tomorrow would be mighty for the standings.

But this is what makes a big team. McLaren now is a team that looks good almost every race. That is amazing news.

Yea, I was gonna say they have been quick in FP1 which was basically todays FP3 and the ‘normal’ FP2 is quali right now

Well, I think rain forecast was just updated and there is none expected for Q3. So after a couple of drops, the track will be sort of green I guess. Anyway, let's hope for a decent grid slot and we'll see how they will go on with race pace tomorrow.

The Merc is nearly half a second faster than it usually is.

VER has lightly used set of softs. That is why he did such a good lap. We are still in the hunt when we fit new softs.
