Did Sainz get damage? Because he's lapping significantly slower than everyone else.

What a complete nonsense...
We're losing 3-4 tenths to MCL in the downforce-heavy sector, S2. And we have poor race pace in general.
That's 2023 territory.

And I'm sorry, but we can't say that we don't put enough energy into the tyres, we're in Barcelona of all places. The track is 42°C.
Poor race pace from SF-24? I don't know which season you're watching. Maybe check again.
I'm not talking about the whole season, I'm talking about this particular race.
This specification is poor in race pace from what we've seen so far. On softs Leclerc was losing 4-5 tenths per lap to Norris in clean air.

The McLaren is an absolute rocketship. SF24 doesn’t have enough pure performance although it is great at extending stints

And now Leclerc is half a second faster than Norris on same tyre of same age...

Because Leclerc is in clean air, Norris is not.

Two cars have flown past Sainz. In Barcelona of all places. Where it's supposedly hard to overtake.

So we rushed update for Spai. Which is said to be A Silverstone one. So we had 2 big updates and that yielded 4th fastest car. Whatever Fred is cooking, is not going well atm.

To be expected on fresh tyres compared to everyone one else… still noticeably slower than Norris (even in dirty air). He’s too far behind to mount any sort of challenge, aside from 5th from Sainz and keeping Piastri behind later in the race.

19.5 for Lec in clean air vs 19.2 for Norris. Lewis did a 19.4 on tyres that are 8 laps older.
19.6 LEC, 19.3 NOR on the following lap. If that's is not a poor showing, then I don't know what is.

Poor pace for Ferrari, third fastets team,
By FAR THIRD FASTEST. Mclaren and MB ahead.

So 5th and 6th for this one confirmed - barring any inter team tapping from either Charles or Carlos.

Somewhat lucky Oscar has been off this weekend and Perez cannot get the most out of the Red Bull… 7th and 8th realistically puts us as the 4th fastest car.

A lot of work to do… hoping to be better in Austria, but not looking forward to Silverstone if this race is anything to go by… unless we find some mass breakthrough with these upgrades but even so, what’s to stop McLaren, Red Bull and Mercedes doing the same?

Red Bull, McLaren and Mercedes are in a league ahead of Ferrari at the moment.

McLaren and Mercedes passed us like we were nothing....

Really surprising couple of weekends since Monaco. Not even the tyre advantage seems to exist either.

Silverstone will be tough against Max and McL.

Austria may be decent.

This will be a big test for Vasseur. Up until Monaco, the season has been executed almost perfectly. Now we're looking at an AMR-like situation of 2023 if the current trend is not broken.

This weekend also puts a dent into the whole "Ferrari's simulation tools are allowing them to come to the weekend better prepared than anyone else". It's not the first time Leclerc struggled throughout Friday FP. And if this race is just a case of upgrades not being dialled in rather than being outright poor, it would lend further credence to that.
