As far as I remember this was the final reason he was disqualified. He ignored yellows in quali, got disqualified, Williams appealed and he entered the race (and finished 5th) but was later disqualified for this infiringment at the start. I recall that very vividly.
It was almost certinaly damaged, I guess you weren't watching the race?
