May i suggest cutouts at the front of the floor to get more air under it?

Oh yes forgot about that  ! No point feeding more air to a diffuser that isn't there

Is there at all any advantages of those floor cutouts?? You get alot less floor area. And too much of the higher pressure air on top of the floor will mix with the lower pressure air underneath the floor.

I believe that will reduce downforce alot.

A small cutout can be beneficial, if it doesn't get near the path of the diffuser, however with a cutout like this, there will be a downforce reduction.

Cutouts at the front of the floor like these get more air under the floor (from the splitter) and also get the bargeboard vortex under the floor. Feeding the floor leading edge with high pressure air has long been a goal in F1. Not convinced by the cutouts in the rear of the floor.

Yes okay i understand theres advantages to small cutouts and specially at the front of the floor.

My question was aimed at thos huge cutouts on this floor. Dont believe they would do any good.

Oh right, sorry misunderstood you there. I'm not convinced by those cutouts, mclaren did something similar in 2009 but dropped it soon after. Maybe it has the same effect as those short floors people were talking about earlier this year (or late last year) but that's a wild guess.

But McLarens cutouts also included raised leading edges. Thats not allowed in that part of the floor anymore??

But im pretty convinced that this floor wont work.
