Looking at the 'body language' of the cars, the thing that stuck out to me most was how poorly the Alpine responded after hitting curbs and bumps.

It appeared really stiff and bouncy, and the oscillation period before the car settled was substantially more pronounced than most other cars. The Ferrari also looked really stiff, but didn't appear to be unsettled like the Alpine was.
MCL, RedBull and Alpine had absolutely terrible behavior on kerbs.

MCL and RedBull both almost spun out in T2 because they just looked at the inside kerb too intensely.

Some teams might be bringing upgrades today and/or tomorrow, including Red Bull

It appears that the aggressive anti dive changes on the McLaren are not going to be a problem. McLarens positive development record continues.

Literally someone posted on how the McLaren behaved on curves and it doesn’t handle them so well. I wonder how other teams are at handling kerbing besides the 4 named.

I don't think that Williams and Redbulls' test schedule is helpful for their new drivers. I agree with Jolyon Palmer. They should have followed the direction of the other eight teams or at least schedule the new drivers for the last day of testing.

McLaren, Red Bull, and Mercedes are already looking sharp and well-balanced, showing impressive consistency over long runs.
In what universe is Mercedes currently "showing impressive consistency over long runs"? I don't see that in the data

Mercs lap times show impressive consistency in how they increase lap by lap.
They probably still exploring the target time.

I don’t know why people are saying it’s a bad idea.
I mean it gives Lawson some vital experience in the rain handling the car.
Mess with the Bull - you get the horns.

For what it's worth, they seem a lot more stable today in terms of consistent lap time.

As said and this goes for the comment about their slowing pace yesterday too. It's testing, we don't know what they're up to and any speculation is just that, speculation.

Piastri has had a #2 test compared to Lando Norris so far. He hasn't brought the car into the top 5 at all yet
