As i understand it, you get points for qualy and race:
for qualy: points like the official ones (25,18...)
for race: double of it (50,36...)
That points you get for every driver+chassis+engine seperately...
So in my case: 4 Points: 2points for williams in race for chassis+same engine...
Go for results - race on the page, then you can see what points drivers etc. get.
Forum newbie here. Also a first-time joiner in the F1Manager fantasy game. Currently lying in 3rd with a solid 7 points. With such a limited budget, it looks like I'll be stuck for quite a number of races with the only cr@ppy picks I could initially afford.
Too bad Yahoo didn't run their F1 fantasy game this year. One could at least change their picks there every round. But since F1Manager is the only site (or one of the very few) that runs a free F1 fantasy game, then I guess it's better than nothing and will have to do.

They are not the only ones with a free one. I am in 3 different free games. But yes, I too have historically done the yahoo game.
I'm slightly disappointed that they haven't updated the leaderboard with the Spanish GP results. Now that I was on a meteoric ascent!!!!!. Anyway, the first five guys really look out of reach. I have the feeling they got Kubica in their teams.
I've got a question about the mechanism. Do you get more money per race depending on your results? I mean, that would create a larger gap between the leaders and the pack. Given that I've only been able to perform 1 change so far... yes, I'd like to get rid of Jarno and Nico (Hulkenberg). Nico isn't performing as well as I had hoped.
I am not amazed by F1 cars in Monaco. I want to see them driving in the A8 highway: Variable radius corners, negative banking, and extreme narrowings that Tilke has never dreamed off. Oh, yes, and "beautiful" weather tops it all.

This is this nasty mechanism of the game - if Your choice at the start was bad - You will be blocked for long time... like me at this moment. It was much better idea to buy one strong element in the team than try to make compromise. I know it little to late.

The problem is the budget you had at the beginning was tighter than Greece's current plan and you were betting for a lower-midfield guy! I think it was possible to get Renault at the beginning, or maybe at the second race had you picked Barichello as one of your Bahrain drivers. Kubica's result at Australia and Malaysia would have propelled you to the top of the leaderboard. Or close. I fear that the guys at the top are actually able to choose some of the frequent high-scorers, like Rosberg.

It's sad that I still don't have the money to get me a better point scorer than Senna.
And for worse, I always forget to estimate the pole lap, which could earn another few dollars as well
Tomba, if you have 20 million, you can swap Barrichello for any of the 45m drivers: 30 - 10% + 20 = 47 million.
