of what?
I wouldn't say he looked particularly furious. He probably had tire problems at the end and would have lost the position anyway. Alonso was faster today. Not to mention Vettel. Hamilton was probably happy.

BTW is it me or was that podium a cold one. Seemed like no driver liked the others. When Hamilton was dousing Alonso with champaign he looked away "passively". The hate is still strong imho. Massa fell(stumbled) on the stairs. Someone in this forum is going to start up talk about his health again

Err yeah righto. 7 points game over? I guess you were probably one of the people saying game over, its redbull easy street after Japan.

Did you just see what happened today? When will people learn anything can happen and often does. Its still wide open!

The race has exceeded all the expectations I had 1h 30m ago. It could have been better, with some more fight for the lead, although they were running quite close. After seeing the first few laps, it seems they could have started the race a few laps earlier. The visibility was not great, though.

I feel very sorry for Rosberg, as he might have been a strong runner today. My fanboi side makes me feel not as sorry for Vettel, although being hit by reliability issues. I suppose Sebastian still has "raceable" engines, right?

Finally, I think the race should have been red-flagged due to light almost 5 laps before the finish. It was way too dark, and nothing really happened (other than DJ Jaime losing his point).
I am not amazed by F1 cars in Monaco. I want to see them driving in the A8 highway: Variable radius corners, negative banking, and extreme narrowings that Tilke has never dreamed off. Oh, yes, and "beautiful" weather tops it all.

Hamilton did his best, the ferrari wheel nut ballanced out with hamilton's understeery car.
Even if he did not make a mistake, the ferrari was sometimes 0.6s faster per lap, Alonso would have caught him; look what rosberg did to hamilton today.

The mclaren was the 4rth best car today. The mercedes of rosberg and shumacher were very strong.

Vettel seems to be bit of an engine killer, I think his remaining engines have at least 1 race on them? Am I right? Maybe Redbull will now switch to Webber for the championship? He is their only option now. The odds on Betfair went from 2 to 1 for Vettel to 15 to 1 so basically not much chance. Webber's odds went from 4.5 to 3.5 when Vettel's engine blew. So Alonso less than 2 to 1 and Webber 3.5 to 1 they are the only short odds players.

Edit Vettel now out to 18 to 1 with Hamilton at 15s.

I said from the beginning this thing will boil down to Hamilton Alonso and that Alonso is not to be taken lightly. He has a good car and lots of experience.
Just for today's race, i'd put him in the class of a Great driver. 3WDC would be well deserved.
Hamilton and Alonso, clearly the best on the grid, with Vettel as well. His confidence in the wet in that redbull was astounding. Too bad the engine went.

These drivers are master class. Button showed his true colours. He looked worse than heiki in the last set of races. Seems he can't take championship pressure even when he's not leading. His adaptability and skill is also questionable.
Embarassing race for him for a WC.

Any way let's see a ferrari engine go in brazil to spice things up.

I wouldn't blame him for that engine failure. I think it's the same issue they had in china. Suggestively the ebd had some complications in the wet back then.

Not at all, the kleine b**t is notoriously wreckless with his machinery, including engines, common knowledge that.

The heartbreak was all Webber's.

I agree. I never really get the hard on engines thing. Maybe suspension over curbs from time to time but not engines these days.

It's dark and the cars are dirty. Have I just watched Rally Monte-Carlo?

Webber ran out of skill this race.
And it was a good thing that rosberg took the hit for Lewis; it would have been another reckless webber collision.

webber is destined to ram lewis everytime. He should ram alonso in brazil and abudahbi.

About the cars, they look better with mud and grass on them. :P

You gotta feel for Seb, I think he took it pretty well waving to the camera's afterwards.
Webber admitted his error, these things happen to the best of them so it was good to see him own up instead of hiding behind some BS PR exercise.
Rosberg was unlucky, what can you do?
Alonso looked very good today, kept in touch with Vettel and now looks like the favourite for the championship. How the tables have turned since Germany!

And Schumacher showed he hasn't lost anything. Doing Kubica on the inside and then the reigning world champion too. Seems his detractors (including that buffoon Jordan) have gone into hiding! :D

Woohoo!

What a butt-clenching, nail-biting thriller of a race it was!

Alonso brought it home. What an ace. And what an unusually conservative drive by Hamilton, well done. I feel sorry for Rosberg, that pass on Hamilton was awesome.

And although I am kind of rooting for Webber this year (despite his inexplicable crash  ) , it is amusing to see RBR throw away another chance at a double victory.
