I can finally rejoice. The Empire Strikes Back. Strikes back against the terrible Honda Engines, strikes back against those that criticised the team and 1-2 inside's Ferrari's Home. The most important thing is that this victory was on merit and pure speed against the Red Bull, against the Mercedes and against those very lucky teams(Renault, Ferrari cough cough) who got podiums and wins out of pure luck.

It's shocking how lucky they got to be honest, all things considered. First of all, Gasly yesterday gave them a free position. Then Hamilton and Verstappen had their moment, and almost gave Ferrari a podium.

And finally, Perez got a 5 second time penalty, giving Leclerc yet another position.

Fuking unreal mate, I just can't comprehend how lucky they got today. It could have been so much worse for them.

They were very lucky all season but still we have a 13.5 point lead over them. Now do we have anything up our sleeve to improve car performance as Ferrari will bring an upgraded engine. We got to find some tenths to cover up for that upgraded engine.

I was confident that we strike back against ferrari in the constructors championship, but man, that turned out veeeeeery well. Very good from the pit wall, active with RIC and also with NOR immediately against HAM.

Honestly, I am even a bit emotional now. We have been waiting for this since 2012. What a victory it is! It all came down to the start and Daniel nailed it off the line. I have been harsh on him this year, but he can’t do any wrong for me from this point onward now. He chose the perfect moment to come back up to speed! The way he held off Max for so long, faultless. The team made a great stop that put Red Bull under a lot of pressure, and it pushed them into a mistake. Because even if they had a perfect stop, it would have been close! Lando dit good too, holding off Lewis. Resulting in a beautiful 1-2 for us.

In retrospect, it makes me happy that Lando did not take pole at Spa. Because to take this as our first victory in 9 years is much more beautiful than it would have been otherwise. This race teared me up. Beautiful! All credits to Zak and Andreas btw for turning it in a race winning team again. The entire team has done a great job to get us here. We are a force to be reckoned with again.
