Great result. Really unlucky for Piastri. We had a good chance to improve our constructors standing as Ferrari is in P5/P6. Hopefully PIA can go forward from P9.

Btw 3 tenths to P3, P4, P5, P6 (Mercedes and Ferrari). McLaren and Max are the fastest cars in F1.

Man, I am so sad for Oscar though, him starting P10 is not good, could have had him ahead of both Ferrari's who mind you had a substantial upgrade package here.

Anyway, nothing is over, what's important is the race pace and degradation tomorrow.

Shame for Oscar. I feel gutted how he lost it there. He could have been in the top 4.Gutted also for Leclerc not getting a penalty for deliberate hitting. Fantastic pole and a finally perfect lap to get pole for Lando. Now onwards to try and get victory tomorrow.

RB also used a tow for Verstappen by Perez in the final run which allowed Max to run at 330kph, and it wasn't enough. Real gap of Norris-Verstappen more like 1 tenth with this revelation

I think it is safe to say the car may not yet be the best but there are no obvious weaknesses.

He can probably recover quite well on an alternative strat from there. Great lap from NOR. Seems FER the tyre seems to get away from them in S3. Similar to long run deg. Awesome job Lando. Faultless finally
