Massive, massive traction or tones of DF in S3 for RBR, especially for Vettel ...

IMO Rosberg compromised his setup towards a wet one, coz yesterday he was at least 2 sec. faster than Lewis both in wet and inter tyre ...
Today it was similar but only 1 sec. between them.

Although I'm a Vettel hater by heart, I salut him. The best car along with a fast driver. The result would be pole position without a doubt. I just hope the races will be more exciting than this very very predictable qualifying sessions.

Lotus and Ferrari have less tyre degradation than RBR IMO. So race will be a great fight.

Correction, McLaren first screw up was their departure from their 2011 thesis, 'lets not build a radically different car again'' - didn't they say something like in 2011 when their car with the radical side pod design flopped in the first few races?

I can't help wonder where Lewis would have come in the same car as Perez and Button today.

I also cant help feel that 2013 might be 2011 again.

When Red Bull can just dominate like that, right from the start, and the other teams aren't quite there yet.....

Had Hamilton been in a Macca, I bet he'd still have stuck it in 3rd place.

The only team that could stop them would be McLaren. But the sad fact is they have come up with a car which is not competitive (for the moment at least). I wonder what Ferrari will look like. Their car is an evolution of F2012.

You can't help but think about it can you?

Also Perez starting where, 15th? Isn't that his magic starting position  He may well finish his first race in front of who everybody is calling the number one driver of the team.

I agree. Ferrari look like the best to challenge them imo.

Notice the drivers were all checking out each tires on other cars as they were walking by the cars at parc ferme.
perhaps checking out who has the better tyre life left for the race start.

also notice webber and vettel got into the medical car. Are they conducting drug test on them?

Lets not be overly critical of either of the McLaren drivers, both cars are 2.5 seconds of the pace in the dry.

Both RBR and Lotus did 3 laps on the SS tires, while both Ferrari did 4 laps on the SS.
So I think RBR could have a slight tire advantage over Ferrari.

Not so much being critical as I am remembering that Perez's best performance always come from starting outside the top ten.

Except this time, he's in a McLaren and his team mate will be starting on wounded tires.
