If quali is dry, i'd be surprised if they put it on Norris's car without him having any prior running with it.

Wonder why they aren't running the new rear wing. Hopefully not another weather gamble, is tomorrow meant to be wet or dry?

The other consideration could be that they didn't want to risk the new wing in a wet FP3 especially after Oscar broke his yesterday. Perhaps we may see it back on both cars come quali.
It is probably going to rain tomorrow also, so the wing that produces more downforce will be used. I suspect that the new wing only becomes more efficient if there is enough airflow behind the wing to require further expansion, I can only imagine that it sacrifices some DF to do this.

Qualifying starts. Good luck to both Lando and Oscar to qualify as higher to the top 4 as possible. The car seems to like these mixed conditions. We have such a huge advantage with bringing our tyres to the correct temperature over others to those mixed conditions.

As always, people jumping to conclusions too quickly. Why be worried about practice sessions?

Team looks comfortable in Q1.

Nobody is worried about practise sessions. We all know Mclaren tends to tune down the engine a lot and the car looked good yesterday and didn't seem to have lost any speed today. Now if the conditions stay mixed like this we got to calculate the best time when to have both of a our drivers for one last run at 1 minute remaining when the tarmac is at its best.

It's ironic that there are still people here that blame our drivers instead of Sainz. It's not the first or the last time he sent someone in the grass.

For anyone wondering why Piastri breezed through and Lando had to have a stellar last lap. Team asked Lando to pit to cover against other cars taking new inters, he said he doesn't think it is needed.

It was tight. Good work! Now he has one more new set available.

It was a risk but it paid in the end. The car is competitive still. Now what to do to beat Verstappen as he seemed to have found the correct final lap again in Q2. We got to find a way to have the final lap. I have a feeling if Norris had new intermediates he could have goten pole in Q2 as there is a huge difference from new intermediates to used ones.

Most of the teams, especially the big teams tune down their engines…..
