The production record would be 'appropriate' in a 599 GTO.

It's as if Chevrolet ran a GT3/4 Corvette at the 'Ring. That's pretty pointless since it's not a road going car, while the ZR1 and Z06 are.

I think the line is pretty clear.

I just think this record boasting is pointless. Especially when their road cars get eaten alive by less expensive models, and the 599XX would also get beaten by production based GT racers.
