Not true, read full statement by James Allison on Lotus F1 Homepage. Beacuse of the weather condisions during practice they could'nt asses the new parts so they went back to the old configuration for the race. They are testing the same parts again in Bahrain, plus some more parts which include a new pushrod suspension.Carlo's wrote:Upgrades didn't work and they took them away before Quali or even third practice. Shame...
The edge of the diffuser looks the same, just different angle I think.Blackout wrote:Most noticeable chinese updates (all photos taken in FP - Both drivers only used the new RW in race)
Here's a better view of the old spec. http://motorsport.nextgen-auto.com/gall ... ar/398.jpgBlackout wrote:Nope the edges are different in shape and size. And previous diffuser has 3 channels on each side of the central large channel + the narrow outer channels, while the new diffuser has a channel less and larger outer channels
I understand it, as they plan to update front suspension which is a typical pushrod.MarkedOne8 wrote:James Allison, Lotus technical director

He says it would be new pushrod, not pullrod. Anyway, I think Lotus will be much stronger on this circuit.New parts plus more suitable weather and track conditions.
