How do you go about criticising the posts of others in your very first sentence, then go on to basically talk as if you haven't even been watching Formula one since last November?donskar wrote:I log on to read about the race and I get a fanboy thread. Mods?
The result shows that this season will be another series of Red Bull processions, unless McL can give Button a more consistent car and can improve their pit work. I no longer consider Hamilton Mclaren's number one -- far too inconsistent.
bit of a knee jerk reaction, no?donskar wrote:I log on to read about the race and I get a fanboy thread. Mods?

I no longer consider Hamilton Mclaren's number one -- far too inconsistent. Kimi and Lotus will make it interesting occasionally, but do they have the resources to match McL and RBR's developments? Doubt it.Merc will show well on some tracks. One must wonder how long Merc will suffer Schumacher's declining skills. Lost season for Ferrari: their much-discussed Mugello update MIGHT get to them to where they should have been at the start of the season.
I didn't find any mistake from Hamilton today. His pit-stops were just way too bad. I am not fully sure what really happened apart from a wheel nut problem, but he clearly lost nearly 20secs in 3 pit stops. And then was stuck behind the Ferraris in the last part of the race.donskar wrote: I no longer consider Hamilton Mclaren's number one -- far too inconsistent.

Is this the same alonso that overtook his teamamte early last season, in the pit lane entrance, with all 4 wheels off the track..banibhusan wrote:Alonso on twitter:

If Nice was fully ahead and Alosno had no part of his car alongside Nico's then why would Alonso willingly drive his car off track and into a massively dusty area? That makes absolutely no sense for a driver of Alonso's talent to do. If no part of his car was alongside the Merc, he would have switched back. You don't run your own car off track to avoid not getting tangled up with the guy you are trying to pass. That's an extremely basic facet of racing. If you aren't alongside someone and they cut very swiftly across the track, you have no reason to go the same route.JohnsonsEvilTwin wrote: The video shows Rosberg was fully ahead.
