It's killer, cuz the biggest reason Mclaren and Mercedes improved so much is that they've drastically improved their front end turn-in behavior. Usually having that kind of transformation in behavior would have required a whole chassis rethink as a compromise, but these teams have achieved these radical improvements in performance without any other compromises.

Cant stress enough how unheard of this kind of situation is. It really does seem like there's some trick that Ferrari(and even Red Bull) are missing in this regard. The turn-in responsiveness between Ferrari/RB and Mclaren/Mercedes is incredibly noticeable. Red Bull makes up for it with amazing performance elsewhere, but Ferrari just isn't great anywhere where there's an aero load. Hence why they're now 4th best.

I think RB invented the "trick" and the rest are just finally starting to maybe figure that out, especially McLaren!

It seems more of an general understanding of what to do with the suspension and the platform in general rather than a trick, but same result at the end I guess.

Yeah I understand that, that's what he was referring to.
But why claim last week that bouncing was almost resolved, when he knows very well(thru drivers feedback) that's it's not the case.
In the best case scenario, it has been slightly improved.
It's just PR moves to ease the pressure, to fake progress, when in reality, they are just lost and will have to fight like hell to avoid finishing P4, just above aston

Raised car, no fast corners, and whatever minor changes they made to the floor stiffness all played part last weekend, but anyone who follows this closely knew that they will back to bouncing on any track with fast corners, which is what we have here, unless of course they raise the car but then no performance..

I’m not sure why they aren’t more transparent about it all.

If the pattern continues, they will claim that they’ve fixed it on a track like Singapore, for it to return the next time we have fast speed corners.
