I really wish they pull one out of the bag this year.
For the Mclaren reputation they need something good this year. Personally I think they don’t have the drivers to do it. But a couple of podiums would be sweet. Not a Mclaren supporter but always had a soft spot for the team.

Wish them all the best and wish the drivers can pull it off. Not 100% confident in the driver lineup though.

On the second day, it is clear that McLaren has the highest speed on 1 and 3 sectors, it is 2 ... 5 km / h more than the rest. With what it can be connected?

Is it in Melbourne or 2nd week of tests? And just the front wing or few more parts like brake ducts etc as well?

Interesting image showing stint lengths. Hulkenberg did a race distance but had 5-10 minute breaks in between his stints. Norris did a shorter distance (40ish laps) but did only a pitstop in between. Morning schedule looks similar across the board.

As far as driver line up is concerned, I think Carlos is a safe pair of hands, he isn't known for making mistakes. He's got good one lap pace, but I think he has to work on race his management. He's not set the world on fire, but I think he, like McLaren can develop.
Lando is inexperienced, but I think he's very, cerebral, a thinker and has huge potential. Where McLaren is right now, I think they have the kind of drivers they need.
