Hamilton with Gasly next to him and Alonso behind him - I bet he's not overly happy about that as neither have much to loose chucking one up the inside or trying to hang around the outside in T1. He could be P3 out of T1 and a DNF isn't out of the question with P2 - P4 all looking for some glory.
Depends on who HAM chooses to give the tow to I guess
I’m not sure he’s going to worry about that. All he’s going to worry about is getting through the first few corners on the track and with no contact.

I guess he'll just stay on the racing line and hope that Alonso puts Gasly under pressure instead. Alonso might be happy to take P2 in to T1. He knows he doesn't have the race pace to take the win from Hamilton but he might feel a P2 podium place is on against Gasly - assuming Max doesn't make it through to challenge him.

It'll make for an interesting opening 10 seconds, I suppose.

I think the language used in the decision documents is quite revealing. I'll leave it at that though.

Blaming a Marshall is disgusting behavior. They are the life blood of racing, not some deluded red bull Karen. When will he learn to be humble, it's painful to see f1 these days.
is there a video for it?
Would love to see it :D
It was on SkyF1.

Red Bull are on the ropes this weekend for real. This is Max’s turn to shine and bounce back like a hero for the team. I hope Checo has a good race, and I hope no bs shenanigans from the back markers up front

Well, as Alonso just said ‘I have nothing to lose’- I think he will be quite bold, but I hope Gasly and himself will show some common sense vis a vis not hugely impacting the title

Sadly it's standard fare from Horner. He's becoming a parody of himself and does the team's image - and all those who work bloody hard in the factory / pitlane to make the results - no favours.

He still has a decent shot at second place, depending on how the first couple of laps shake out.

That was absolutely disgraceful behaviour from Horner blaming the marshall. Especially since there have been recent deaths of these vital volunteers to the sport

Wow, Red Bull management throwing an individual under the bus when things don’t go as planned, what a shock… expected nothing less from him.

After last week he has to. If he doesn’t the advantage and momentum is Hamilton’s. Verstappen has to finish 2nd today otherwise the gap becomes tiny and suddenly his easy ride to his first WDC disappears with a focused, on form, motivated 7xWDC 1 win away from taking it off him. The noises coming out of RedBull are the sound of being distressed too.

Sainz should have been given a penalty as well. He doesn't lift at all while going past gasly or marshalling post. He only lifts like 10 meters before finish line which is much further down the road, and the only reason he lifted a bit early is because he saw on his delta that the will not improve his time. He was 0.15s down on his first Q3 lap. FIA must be very blind not to notice this.
