Sebastian Vettel has led the Bahrain GP from start to finish to win his first GP of the season. Kimi Räikkönen brough his Lotus car home in second place after a few unfortunate races. His teammate Grosjean finished third to complete a great result for Lotus.
Vettel is looking good at the moment, possibly temperatures but possibly his setup is good for one lap pace but poor for the race and they'll end up having to compromise the balance a little more. Button and Webber don't look too comfortable with the setup at the moment, with Button just going on the radio to say he's struggling with the rears, whereas Hamilton is really dialed in. Matched Vettel's best on his first flier and is now halfway through a slightly quicker lap.
Replays show that Hamilton made a small mistake on his fastest lap in the middle sector, the only one he didn't set a purple time losing out to Vettel by a tenth.
Formula One's fundamental ethos is about success coming to those with the most ingenious engineering and best ..............................organization, not to those with the biggest budget. (Dave Richards)
Massa just had chunks of his front right tyre fly into the cockpit through turn 12. That Ferrari is not handling at all well and is really going to struggle in the race unless they can do something to significantly improve the setup.
