Yea definitely, i can´t wait to see two white and blue machines with hopefully BMW´s trademark of complete monster engines.

I think that was his best lap of the year.
Last week was arguably more exciting, but that was just mesmerising.

Lorenzo and Marquez are the fastest guys out there. Jorge doesn't have the bike underneath him, I have also noticed that he has changed his riding style, his arm was dragging on the corners in the last race.

Hayden sees a lot more potencial in the carbon frame...

Yea Lorenzo and Marquez seems to be by far the two quickest guys out there.
Marquez giving us some Rossi-esque moves on track on the master himself as well, i´m sure the "master" smile a little bit in his helmet even if he was passed.

Shaping up to be a fine rider Marquez. Sprinkle some MotoGP experience on that kid and you have one extremely complete rider.

All we need is Stoner back in the mix. Talk about wasting talent.
If i had his skills and was in MotoGP i´d ride until nobody would want me there anymore.

With Kawazaki back in 2015 you dont think they could lure Stoner back ?

I would love to see that but i think he´s fully committed to family now with his daughter.
I´d like to think also Simoncelli´s death was another reason to quit. Pure speculation at best though.

Hopefully it´s one of those Schumi-moments, some time off and a new interesting challenge in Kawa could lure him back.

Anyone watched the race? was a standard race i guess but it turns out that when Marquez accidentally hit Pedrosa it messed up his traction control, hence spinning on the exit.

I had no idea it was that sensitive, it looked like a brush rather then a proper collision.

Well, in retrospect I can believe it is that easy to damage it. The sensor is attached completely at the back, pointed at the wheel (of course). A slight touch alike the one from Marquez would be enough to disposition it slightly, enough to mess the whole system up and to catapult Pedrosa into the air (still can't believe he didn't break anything in that).

Also shows it is entirely impossible to drive these machines without traction control. Even so slightly too early on the throttle has disastrous consequences.

But Marquez... just wow. Any normal biker would be mentally thrown off after that for the remaining laps. But no, not Markie. That kid is unstoppable. Lorenzo was powerless once he got passed. Tried to fight back, but apperently Marquez had extra pace in check.

It looks like Marc is "responsible" for danny crash.

http://asia.eurosport.com/moto/marquez- ... tory.shtml

They with its handlebar touch Dannys wire speed sensor and broke it. Look video below (free registration, official MotoGp side)...

http://www.motogp.com/en/videos/2013/Ne ... e+in+Aragn

That cause when Dani get back on trottle huge highside over the handlebar.

PICTURES of allegedly broken wire:

For exaple i edded for comparison of the new one...

Image

Tehnicaly speking if contact was suficient and if we take in acount kinetic energy (total mass of the bike + rider its is about just over 200kg and at aproximate over 200km/h) in shows that approx. 1mm wire could easly broke with range of 500N force (50kg)...

I think it was very unfortunate however I think Marquez is too aggressive.

I have a feeling we are going to see a war in MotoGP over the next few seaons, between Lorenzo and Marquez, and Dani and Marquez - and I think it will be no holds barred.

Re: MotoGP 2013

If Marquez keeps being this agressive next year, I definitely see Pedrosa leaving Honda.

Though I have to say Marquez looks to be in a manner calculated when he makes contact. He very often "touches" his opponents, but never more then a subtle push. However, he is also at the grace of the other rider when doing that. But he does look to be in control.
