Sebastian Vettel converted a two stop strategy into another race win, further increasing his championship lead. Mark Webber ended second on a three stopper while Romain Grosjean completed the podium for Lotus.
No doubt F1 cars are a lot safer, and Japanese marshals are more efficient/quick, has there been any news of improvements to the circuit since that crash in may 2013?
How would you improve the circuit after this crash?
(afai can see, everything worked OK)
Thank you really doesn't really describe enough what I feel. - Vettel
KERS problems - publicity stunt by Red Bull to warm their evil image, "see, Vettel also has KERS problems", it's SO random with those technical gremlins, can happen to anyone, Vettel doesn't complain with his prepared speech that doesn't make sense, and no worries for the race, that's the spirit.
No it's not, guess what Red Bull, it doesn't count if it happens after championship has been decided. Good for Webber for immediately countering it with "a bit hollow" remarks. Also conveniently it happened when they had guaranteed 1-2.
Lotus - pity about "device", wins might be possible with a bit of luck if they had it now, even after 1,5 seasons of horrible driver management. This is what they focused on avoiding around Germany 2012 - instead of results. Apart from walk in the park for Red Bull, regrettably Merc wasn't even close - good, tight qualifying.
Mark's lap was good indeed, but SV was phenomenal. Being fastest in S1 and S3 where KERS was not needed, to only lose by a fraction instead .4-.5seconds is utter brilliance!!

Load of bollox, I hope you seriously don't believe that

Any reason huh?..sad..
Generally I don't care about what people say. I have to be clear with myself. When everything goes well, people celebrate you, when you make mistakes people criticize you.

Red bull are so superior they're in a different formula. Vettel was comfortably ahead of the next challenger despite kers woes as they claim. Maybe the start will be interesting with Vettel at the dirty side but i doubt that.

I just hope Webber has a decent start to at least make the first lap interesting. Then again, the cynical side in me knows that Webber will blow the start and be in 3rd place by S3. :/

Doesn't that suggest that his KERS was working to some degree? if he was so 'brilliant' why was he so slow in S2?

Learn to read properly! Already said: 90% of KERS deployment is in sector 2 and only 10% in S3 after chicane.
Vettel has always been better than webber when comes to managing tires, so he shouldnt have problem passing Webber tomorrow unless he has got issue with KERS.
