Hamilton is sand bagging lol. I bet he had a fair bit of fuel load in the 2nd practice.

Sandbagging on a flooded track? Really?

Very sensible thing to do. It's what all the people on the news seem to do when it floods.

Why would he do that?

I think the spins just knocked his confidence a bit, if he goes well now he will have a better time.

If you put fuel in it it'll handle considerably worse in the wet. Surely you know that. Why he'd do it ? Figure it out for yourself.

Anyway, we'll know within a few hours.

Hoping Marussia can hold on this time, unless there's some Maldo/Grosjean style antics during the race i don't think there'll be any changes in the WCC

It was clear that he was snap-in-oversteer in T5 and he admitted on Sky interview that he was struggling all with throttle mapping in the wet all year ...
Now you have to really think about what kinda good programmers Macca boys have and therefore that's the main reason FIA enforced their ECU for all of the team ...
But once FIA has signed a contract in order to provide its own software with another company they failed miserable and you just have to look at the first part of the season for those interminable bugs they have had ...

Yea he´s not sandbagging. The most likely answer is he´s trying to sort out the car and engine maps as he mentioned in the interview and does not really care about the laptimes (especially since it´s raining)

Anyone think Webber has been testing some 2014 components and it's part of the reason he has so many mechanical "issues"?
It was the same situation with Lewis last year ...
It's a rhetorical question but had you were a team principal and one of your drivera is moving to another team where do you put bits and pieces for the next year?

Interesting, Perez looked like he ripped off all of the nose cone except for the vanity panel. Strange one!
