Ferrari looked very strong at this track in pre season testing. I think this track is very suited to the Ferrari and expect to see Ferrari win their 1st race this season on sunday. Let's see

I was Reading the news, and seems that Red Bull and Racing Point have new motorhomes. If some teams are asking for reducing costs, isn't a bit strange that they spent Money on new motorhomes?

Although these motor homes are very expensive it's nothing compared the development costs of designing and building a new car each year, or the day to day running costs for even a small team.

I read somewhere that Red Bulls old energy station was 12 years old, whatever the cost if it lasts even half as long it seems like a good investment.

So, with most of the updates known now... What does everyone think the pecking order will look like? Will anyone be a surprise by the end of practice tomorrow? Will Red Bull mix it up for pole? I don’t think any of the midfield teams will challenge the top 3, but could the gap between the midfield and the 3rd best car be shorten for Barcelona?... Last year the top 3 were separated by 0.643 of a second and the gap to the midfield was 1.503 seconds

Good question, but it's nearly impossible to judge the pace increase only what we know now. May be after FP3.

Of course hoping that Ferrari and Red Bull can fight for pole but I assume Mercedes is still the team to beat.

Confirmation from AMuS that Mercedes did in fact have a cooling problem, and that the solution has finally arrived for Barcelona . . .

Mercedes has completely rebuilt his car once again. The changes are almost as extensive as between the first and second week of testing in winter. The following components are new or modified: Front wing, rear wing, side boxes, baffles, underbody front and rear, rear view mirrors, cooling of the drive unit."

last year's pole for comparison wasn't flat but had min speed 261 kmh.

Is anyone watching the FP1 session live or something? Is Hamilton struggling or what? Bottas seems to be on fire, pushing like a madman while Lewis is... I don't know. Really hard to judge by the Autosport feed today, not much intel there. Not even sure on which tires which times were set and how representative they are... (and yes, I know it's only FP1).
