"We go to the factory, of course, but I think the problem for everybody is known, so you don’t need additional input from the driver. We don’t have simulators, so there will be no simulation but of course we try to help the team as much as we can from the driver point of view but as I said, I think the problem is known by everybody and there is no need for additional meetings or things like that."

Quite surprised that BMW don't have any simulators.....
maybe they could run rFactor, bmw's are the only official f1 cars there

Fisichella high up is a big surprise.

I'm sure they have more mechanical grip now than at any time with the 2
M wide cars.

Plus those wide cars make it even harder to pass(easier to block), especially on the street circuits which BE seems to want the series to move towards.

Rosberg's FP2 time on the Supersofts is only 0.3s faster than Hamilton's FP1 time on the hards, soaring track temperature to blame??

And did anyone notice that Bourdais wasnt using the Shark Fin on his STR4 in FP1. Still to watch FP2, theres some damned table based sport on the BBCi at the moment, and i was out when FP2 was on, so cant say too much yet.

Interesting that there's no LCD screen on it.
I wonder if it's a projection display right on the inside of their helmet visor's!

The LED and LCD display are mounted under the "windscreen" on the mono-cock.

I was trying to make a joke regarding tech advancement and failed miserably at it. My apologies.
