Total bull about Sauber telling him to back off. They were just seeing what I was seeing - Perez putting two tyres on every white line he could find. Absolutely unnecessary, I am still furious about him not winning what was essentially an open goal. The reaction of the pit crew says it all when Perez went off.

nah, it was just the Sauber team radio that ruined his concentration, no conspiracy, but even we could see that he should have pitted same lap as Alonso, than they would have been more time to overtake him. Sauber team is not really good in tactics.
Sauber clearly lost P1 today, Alonso drove very good (like always under those conditions).

And on the final lap Vettel matched the leaders in the first and middle sector. Nothing wrong with that car.
Free box change by avoiding a penalty? I highly doubt the FIA will swallow that pill down so easily.
I wonder what Red Bull will say was going on ....?

Any word yet ?

Good actors, bad concerted effort. I'd have believed you if I didn't know Ferrari.

Button lost his race when he touches Kartykeyan ..
Vettel also did the same thing..

Driver Standings after round 2:

1-Fernando Alonso - Scuderia Ferrari 35pts ((luck or skill? doesn't matter..he is leading the championship ;x ))
2-Lewis Hamilton - Mclaren Mercedes 30pts
3-Jenson Button - Mclaren Mercedes 25pts
4-Mark Webber - Red Bull Racing 24pts
5-Sergio Perez - Sauber Ferrari 22pts
6-Sebastian Vettel - Red Bull Racing 18pts
7-Kimi Raikkonen - Lotus Renault F1 16pts
8-Kamui Kobayashi / Bruno Senna - Sauber Ferrari/Williams Renault 8pts
9-Paul Di Resta - Sahara Force India - 7pts
10-Jean Eric Vergne - Scuderia Toro Rosso - 4pts
11-Nico Hulkenberg - Sahara Force india - 2pts
12-Michael Schumacher - Mercedes AMG Petronas - 1pt

MCL : Lost probably the race in the pits..and Button in the circuit. Lewis Will Lead the championship in China probably ..
RBR: Disappointing Vettel..Looks like his gambling with the Hard Tyres Yesterday wasn't that successful..Webber dominates again his team mate I think Seb will Struggle this season .. If he wants to keep faith in the 3rd he will certainly have to push and (( at least a podium in China ))
SF: Or Scuderia Alonso as someone said ..Fernando showed he is the master in wet conditions again ..Massa however needs a swap with Perez
Mercedes: Disappointing again tyres issues have to fixed and quicly..
Lotus : Solid Kimi , Unlucky GrosJean :/

But the season is still starting..and no Judgments until Abu Dhabi or Brazil

Hero Of the day : Sergio Perez ! what an effort he believed for a win until that mistake ><
Fernando alonso Did an amazing Job, although we are all ok to say that Rain helped him A LOT.
A day to forget:Jenson Button , Sebastian Vettel ,Nico Rosberg and as usual Felipe Massa ( -_- )

Keep on keeping on. We all saw and heard what happened. Sauber are Ferrari's scapegoats and they were effectively prevented from fighting for a win when they were most likely to do so and had every right to. This isn't racing, it's a bad joke.

I didn't watch it, if you think his reaction shows it all that only proves the way you perceived it or that Perez is a good actor.
that's really enourmos...why hate make you so blind to write such macroscopic un-logic things?
If perez wanted to finish 2 there was no need to do all that cinema (and take all that risks but evidently you have never driven a competion car on track and you don't have the smallest idea of what it means..) all what he had to do was to go a litle bit slower...

A very strange race we have just witnessed. Perez on the harder tires faster than Alonso on the Mediums. Both McLarens seemingly struggling for grip in the wet on inters after pulling away from the field on the full wets. These Pirelli's are extremely unpredictable.

Alonso did nothing special today, if anything his team earned the win more than he did, good pit stops at the proper times, much more than what can be said for McLaren.
Hamilton should demand his engineers back from Button, because his side of the garage suck.

Drivers of the race Perez and then Senna.

Both Button & Vettel destroyed their own races.

I'm Happy that Vettel finished 11th, need more finishes like that from him.

Also to reply to someone else I noticed Herbie Blash walk downstairs and into the pits, maybe going to have a word with Helmut Marko/Christian Horner for a please explain?
If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

I'd assume you haven't been watching for a long time then. Ferrari even back in '97 had requested from Sauber to hold their rivals even when the Sauber car was a lap down. The same Ferrari who issues team orders every opportunity they get. They aren't racers.

I'll comment on the "hate" part. If it was a good clean race without any manipulation I'd have been more than glad to applaud Alonso for winning in a dog of a car, and Perez for dragging Sauber into P2.

Not this day.

I'm not happy how all the commentators are absolutely refusing to comment on just how badly and consistently the McLaren garage ruined their drivers race.

It was unbelievably bad from them.

They certainly messed up Hamilton's race. I think Button shot himself in the foot.
