Mercedes AMG F1 W05

They're still playing around with Cooling Specs. On the last Pictures they have the big Exit again.

Is it me or have mercedes ran with some odd testing sensors. They have barely ran with pilot tubes and today they have weird double ir cameras. Where are they getting their airspeed figures from?

New sidepods vanes on the Merc.

Also the little pod mounted to the right of the cockpit of the sidepod has gone, this surprisingly covered a braided fluid line, so presumably the final build of the car saw this line not fit under the bodywork!

The centre flap on the diffuser gets two triangular endplates

Is that probably it Scarbs in terms of Aus spec package or would you expect more? (I'm aware of the rumoured new lower nose).

What is that added onto the diffuser just beneath the crash structure? Is it for data recording?

Clever triangular and vertical fins under the crash structure, First time I see em. And I like the RW endplate design, the slits, the stakes and the 'upwash' shape... not new but elegant.

Yes, it's beneficial for the upwash. It uses the air from the small mini diffuser on top of the normal diffuser and beneath the rear crash structure. They try to guide the air away from the crash structure and possible sets up upwash structures left and right from the exhaust area.

and Mercedes previous end plate was quite simple tbh. It seems they just refined the car pretty much everywhere albeit each modification not being very big

The sidepod vane is just different in the top, but a change anyway. Also, I don't know if this was that already on previous test(in Jerez it certainly wasn't) but there is a second vertical twist on the floor's side edge(just by the side of the sidepod vane).
