Yes, it's beneficial for the upwash. It uses the air from the small mini diffuser on top of the normal diffuser and beneath the rear crash structure.They try to guide the air away from the crash structure and possible sets up upwash structures left and right from the exhaust area.Blackout wrote:Clever triangular and vertical fins under the crash structure, First time I see em. and Mercedes previous end plate was quite simple tbh.
