Agreed, just find it a bit odd that they base how quick a car is on the gap to a team mate in FP and analysing Max's fastest lap, without analysing Lando's. Neither of them put in a very clean lap, but only Max was given credit in the bank for that.

I bet Lando would have two tenths on Piastri and Verstappen if he had another set of softs.
But great result, finally the team gets what they deserve. Tomorrow we need to execute perfectly and get a big constructors boost. WCC is not impossible (I am scared to dream about it).

Piastri said it outloud (during post qualy interview),
"We have a big task ahead of themselves, trying to win this championship as a team. "
I'm getting too excited. Piastri is also very mature and smart, says they will be smart (not risk crashing into each other), keep the big picture in mind.
For the errors from the pit wall and drivers, it shouldn't be lost on us that the design team has done a tremendous job with the car. We see how other teams struggle to make their upgrades have an impact, for them it sometimes takes several races before they find their way. But since last year, it's almost instant results for McLaren, even on Sprint weekends.

At Hungaroring it's usually better to start from P3 than from P2 because the even side is quite dusty. However, this may not be the case this time because of the rain
Andrea Stella said on F1TV that they expected Hungary to be favorable for the team as it has plenty of medium speed corners and they are leading car in those type of corners.
So I guess team thinks they are fastest in medium speed.
What do you need to be fully happy.
