Very strange call from McLaren, there was no need to cover Hamilton, I agree with the call to swap, but I don't think Lando will listen

They are the team in front... at least on this track, and they still have second violin mindset... that just doesn't work.

Max was catching Lando drastically. The RBR is still fast. They couldn't just sit and let everyone past, and Max catch up.

Yeah this is on the team as far as I know Norris did not call for the strategy that he's on, while Piastri has done the hard yards why would you put Norris into this position. Yes WDC is Hopeless mostly, mathematical possibility sure but unlikely but if you want to built ruthlessness into the team for a true WDC run surely now that they are in this position take the Maximum points against Max.

I see it the same way, but if VER stays 5 a team order would bring the big points for the wdc. But they need to sort this things out before the race and than EVERYONE must stuck to it. Or I just to overreact.

Team need to make clear he was gifted that on trust, to protect his position. Taking advantage of that is wrong.

Thanks! And Lando is absolutely right. The strategy team is again a bit too reactive to my taste. With the pace the team has, they should be more assertive instead of reactive. They got the pace to adhere to their fastest strategy and still be covering Hamilton/Verstappen/whoever

But, as shown by Max, in a very fast car, it's hard to overtake. You have to react.
