It's not completely broken. It simply has a fault with the fundamental design. With the sharp angles, it's not providing them with the most reliable data they can get, which explains why their surprised by the lack of performance.

That testing section just seems really small to me. Especially really short. And I hope they have some kind of way to control air temperature in there because otherwise with the fans and the sharp angles the air will heat up very very quickly.

From outside at least it looks like the worse designed wind tunnel I have ever seen. And I have seen a few.

Montezemelo found that there was a tax advantage to claiming the wind tunnel was also a work of art. True story. Take it for whatever it's worth.

And just like any "work of art" that claims itself so, it has absolutely no practical utility.

Worth very little.

Easier to get planning permission as well. I doubt there's anything wrong from the design point that we can tell though.

Planning permission! That's indeed why the wind tunnel was partially justified as a work of art. I knew something was off when I said tax advantage.

The wind tunnel worked great last year. It must have been those new adjustments they made to it. If you see how the Ferrari wind tunnel looks you can see the changes.

To bad the speed isn´t there.. It´s such a beautiful car apart from the slightly lardy nosecone and the front wing pillars.
Everything else so so good looking that you would think Pininfarina designed it.

Anybody have some nice pictures? Been kinda empty in these specific car fourms..

No, he's walking a dog. A Canary Island Mastiff I believe.
LOL, don't make me laugh!

Even if Ferrari find 1 second or so, the other teams aren't standing still. Even if they get back to their race winning ways, Red Bull aren't wasting time this year, they are running away with this championship...

Those stupid FW pillars are what bohters me the most. How can those NOT interfere with front downforce going into a corner, is beyond me. Look at the surface that gets hit by airflow, it's like a bloody sail. The front wing itself is aslo too conservative, they need something new and agressive.

As for pictures...
