I thought he took too much left-hand kerb on the entry to 14 - where the left front is practically overloaded anyways. No? He then had to straighten the car to avoid any bad moments.Giblet wrote:Perez was right on the Ferrari, was dirty air and following too close the reason he went off due to lack downforce while braking?
If it was the way he wanted to fulfill the request from his team, then why notGiblet wrote:Perez was right on the Ferrari, was dirty air and following too close the reason he went off due to lack downforce while braking?

And me from witnessing an immensly awesome scrap all because Ferrari want to win at ALL costs and they're allowed to do so whichever way they like.

I think they can do what they need to adjust within minutes if it's allowed with the red flag. Perhaps no major changes, but I also think they can change the setup quite easily without ripping the car's guts.
Ferrari modified the setup in a way times with wet track were better after the RF than before it.

You can make all kind of arguments about it, but the fact remains that lapped drivers have to get out of the way. Katikeyan did this neither for Button nor for Vettel. It wasn't Vettel's duty to keep clear. He could have been more cautious but it is easy to say this with hindsight. Katikeyan is relatively inexperienced but he has been in F1 for so long that he should know better. I really hope they find a better Indian driver. I'm truely fed up with the guy and think he should get a fat penalty for this race.Giblet wrote:WhiteBlue wrote: Schumacher, Button and Vettel were all pushed out of the top ranks by inexperienced newbies.
Buuuuuuut, Vettel ran over his wing. How is that NK's fault? he does that quite often when passing other cars, as I have pointed out before.
What possible reason could Vettel have for cutting in so early?
Your boy made a boo boo WB
Exactly this, however the Roswell, Rockerfeller conspiracy theorists will argue differently.Giblet wrote:Another thing, if Perez was told to hold station, would Peter Sauber have been on the verge of tears with pure pride welling from within? I'm afraid the appropriate reply to that would be "ZOMG Karthikeyan's fault". Why do lapped drivers not take more heedGiblet wrote:raymondu999 wrote:I thought he took too much left-hand kerb on the entry to 14 - where the left front is practically overloaded anyways. No? I need to watch it again to be sure. I'm just exploring other ideas other than "ZOMG Ferrari's fault"
Sauber is a smart man. He knows what would happen if Ferrari's no1 driver gets mugged by one of his cars on the track, let alone for a race win.Giblet wrote:Another thing, if Perez was told to hold station, would Peter Sauber have been on the verge of tears with pure pride welling from within? Ah, I was wondering where I remembered you from. You'd be calling blatant team orders between Schumacher and Barrichello minus the radio proof a conspiracy theory too. So yeah, no surprises there.Hail22 wrote:Exactly this, however the Roswell, Rockerfeller conspiracy theorists will argue differently.Giblet wrote:Another thing, if Perez was told to hold station, would Peter Sauber have been on the verge of tears with pure pride welling from within? Vettel was going straight - and left a car's width to his left.Giblet wrote:He did leave room, but Vettel thought he was already past.
