No. The car was underweight by 1.5kg without fuel, meaning he had a tenth and a half advantage every lap. At the end of the race that would have made a reasonable difference to the tyres too.

That means whatever they did to the car on saturday, which then later went into parc-ferme' , there is no way to check the lagality of a car before qualifying and before a race ? How does this whole 'car legality' work ?

Yes thats trye, they qualified out of position too.

If done right he is already disqualified, the stewards just need to type it up.

Both. I read something about the car not being fully drained. I'm curious how it was not fully drained, twice.

And happened to be at exactly the weight limit of the team drained the car after the race.

Saw sonething about the extra tyre wear on a 1 stop, not being factored in.

Tires are about 10kg each. So he needed to lose 0.4kg on each tire more to be underweight. Not sure how much tire is used but I guess it is possible. Still a bit strange that they have this issue, it is such a basic thing.

At this rate Oscar will surpass Lando on points in the next few races. No matter what Lando does he cannot get the start without losing 2 positions and still managed to find himself below Ver that started on 11'th.

43 and 77 was before the DSQ. Now it is 42 and 100.

I am quite annoyed that Mercedes attempted to cheat. They declared that the car is drained and within weight knowing they were under weight. I am not sure if a bigger penalty for Mercedes would be good for McLaren, having more cars to be a potential buffer toward Verstappen would be good.

Maybe a financial penalty that counts within the budget?

Fo some reason it had updated the drivers but not the constructors, 42 points, if Red Bull keep Checo, and depending on how we fair at Zandvoort could be overturned after Monza!
