I dont think we had Verstappen as a target not when Piastri had so many cars to pass and the Red Bull still has a slight advantage.
Big (not slight) we aren't slightly behind in race mode.

It has some important advantage (I don't think it's that big as you describe) still but nothing it can't be nullified during the winter. For today I believe it will be a failure if we don't finish 2-3 at worst.

Both our drivers are on used set at the moment - safety car window is open and I expect them to pit at about 25-27 laps. Then they have two new sets to the end.

Taking chunks out of Alonso.

Oscar steady behind Max just under 8sec

Crew does 1.8s pitstop and Coulthard goes that pitstops were not good.

Norris is on it, looks like he'll catch Oscar at this rate.

Aparently Piastri got some time compared to Max in the second stint. How many laps can we do with that Medium? I wonder if we can bolt the softs for the last part.

Max on hards now - we need to close the gap. I think this means he will not be putting on softs.

Can we put the softs for the last part since the surface might be perfect for them at this point.

Don't think so. Too long of a stint.

It would be ideal if we got a safety car now - get a jump on Verstappen on hards.

I don't think Piastri can catch Max but Lando seems to be slightly faster than both Piastri and Max.

But yes we shal need a Safety Car. Lance Stroll time to crash somewhere.

Verstappen is just too quick - he has great pace plus more flexibility with his tyres.

But amazing drive by both cars - will end up being an easy double podium starting from P6 and P10. I hope we don't get drama between Norris and Piastri, either by on track fight or by the undercut.
