Pastor Maldonado recorded the fastest time on the penultimate testing day of the current 4-day session at Barcelona. The session was dominated by 4 red flags and was eventually cut short 3 minutes earlier than planned because Felipe Massa came to a halt in the pitlane.
Post here all non technical related topics about Formula One. This includes race results, discussions, testing analysis etc. TV coverage and other personal questions should be in Off topic chat.

Already 61 laps and Pic is on track again.
Nice to see no technical issues .. just steady runs and get milage in that car.
Anyone know how many laps/miles they did in Jerez ?
Marussia/Virgin was not at Jerez it was HRT and they only did two days.
If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.
Sorry Im just assuming they are goin fast ONLY on sector two because they didnt post times from 11.47 to 12.15.Since they ARE on track, vettel is surely trying something on one of the sectors... ok now he's completing full laps...
Yeah that probably has something to do with it but as they said and demonstrated by Pic doing 3/4 days they are giving the rookie lots of mileage to get him up to speed
Can someone tell me if MSC used Soft tyres or not??
BTW the track is very cold & this is the 1st day of running. During a race weekend you have 3 Practise Sessions. The track will get more grippier & quicker. I think Low 1-21's can be a very capable time.
I dont think the NEW soft tyre will more than 0.5s quicker. EBD LOSS would be 1-1.5s & By Barcelona with more fine tuning & upgrades,I expect all cars to gain a few tenths.
Hulk's Low 1-23 is very quick. With hards, upgrades & more fine tuning F1 can touch low 1-22.Maybe even high 1-21. I see them as a SERIOUS challenger this year.
