Though I have to say Marquez looks to be in a manner calculated when he makes contact. He very often "touches" his opponents, but never more then a subtle push. However, he is also at the grace of the other rider when doing that. But he does look to be in control.
It is definitely calculated, and he is in control, which means that his intention is to rub and brush the other rider to put them off their stride.

Marquez is not stupid, he knows exactly what he is doing, it is intimidation... but for me it is a bit far.

I think we will see Lorenzo and Pedrosa stepping up their intimidation tactics in the near future.

Lorenzo already seems a bit more agressive. Those few last corners in Silverstone did show that.

I do agree that it is a bit far. The current generation of bikes are already very prone to make race ending mistakes, marquez pushing-happy attitude isn't exactly helping on that front. It all looks spectacular, but when bones get broken by it or worse a case like marco simoncelli, it isn't fun to watch anymore. And I do fear it'll come to that; Pedrosa came very close to that (how he came away with it with just some bruises baffles me).

Surely such an important sensor having a badly exposed wire is just a poor design choice.

When Dani was sprawling in the middle of the track the first thing that I thought of was Marco. Thankfully the lead group was so far away that the followers had time to react.

Yes, it could have been thought through a little better.

I suspect it will be moved for next season.

They could have atleast coverd the wire, dont you think ? I mean having exposed wires even if it isnt electric is very bad.

That's a huge pile up. They're lucky not to be seriously hurt.

In the MotoGP race Lorenzo and MM had a very good battle early on, edge of the seat stuff. Dani managed to run while they were fighting so it was bit of a dull race as you say after that.

M&M is 43 points ahead now and with 3 races to go it will take massive amount of bad luck for him to lose. But we saw it with Lewis in 2007, it just fell apart in 2 races. So you never know.

Yeah but still, Lewis had a 7 point lead going into the last race and was in the best car, the chance of Kimi actually taking the Championship by that 1 point was like 1% and with the old points system.

Also omg that Moto2 crash, i missed that cause i watched F1, how is it that no one got srsly injured ?

The Ferrari seemed quicker at Brazil. They took pole and pulled away from Alonso (12 seconds in 15 laps).
Hamilton had trouble with Alonso losing positions, then got gearbox problems that put him down in 18th.

All of these situations can happen in MotoGP too.
If there´s a chance for something to go wrong, that´s enough to be quite nervous.

Personally i can´t wait for Phillip Island, seeing Marquez looking like he will crash with the front end all over the place, rear wheel up in the air and somehow manages to hit the apex.

I think this is my favourite track of the year, in terms of qualifying, fast track, with lots of flowing corners.
