Very interesting. So if the rumors are to be believed, then Ferrari have scrapped, what many here kept arguing "A FINE AERO DESIGN, that F14T was, which performed GREAT despite a weak PU". Some were even telling that, the F14T was in fact producing same downforce numbers as RB10 and W05 ! People who designed it are fired and now, a whole redesigning. Why would you fire someone who created such an efficient design? And the guy who dragged that car to some decent finishes, left them with no hope.Harsha wrote:First of all Thanks for some infodiffuser wrote:on Omnicourse...when it's written by Giorgio I believe it. I don't know this Franco.
The whole year we've been told that James Allison was designing the F15T. Now all of a sudden it was Tobazis and Fry?
Sounds like blame deflection to me.
On topic I think the Car designed by Fry and Tombazis was scrapped and james allison and his new team started it from scratch if the article is any thing to go by from October , so they have less time to develop but we can also say just like you said a Blame Deflection. Any way lets see how it pans out we are now less than a month on car reveal
I was arguing here that they have gone backwards, at least on their front wing philosophy as front wing is fundamental to the design of any car. My statement was more based on the performance in down force dominant circuits as ultimately that is where a car has to perform. But I was argued hard to believe that, that FRONTAL design was indeed great. It remains to be seen if the same front wing design would be retained, if there is in fact a REDESIGNING.
