The third ever Russian Grand Prix at Sochi was won by Nico Rosberg after he charged off from pole not to come under threat again. Lewis Hamilton finished an unhappy second while Kimi Raikkonen completed the podium for Ferrari in third place.

At this point at the end of Q1 both Ferrari and Mercedes are about 1.45 seconds faster than last years Q3 times seems to me that its not just a mercedes thing
Damnit. I was looking forward to perhaps the first race this year where we might see them go at it for the win. This is going to be very costly for Lewis.
This will be another race of damage limitation. I think 2nd or 3rd should still be possible, if he can get a clean start from 10th and not be tangled up in any collisions. Win is out of the question IMO unless some miracle happens.
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II #Team44 supporter
Oops. You're right. If they need to change the engine, that would mean starting from the back, wouldn't it?
This just went from bad to absolute shocker. :/

7 tenths between Nico and Vettel and Nico was 2 tenths up on his last flying lap before he locked up and aborted the lap so make it about 1 second. I guess cold temperatures really suit Mercedes.
