Using Fahrenheit in a technical forum is blasphemy!
Tell me about it. If it were Austin he might be excused for obvious reasons, but he is quite bold-faced to use such an abhorrent unit this side of the millennium. A handful of "freedom units" like Psi, miles per hour, pounds, inches are borderline acceptable, but Fahrenheit?!! Fahrenheit?! Next thing you know he's talking about Btus and Cubits. That sort of stuff doesn't belong near anything made after 1970, OK Zibby?
Hey man, Zibby continues to carry the torch for the few of us ‘Muricans that are here (even if we mostly lurk)!
We only really have to worry if people start talking about measurements in terms of cups :)

That's about 50 cups of fuel added for his final run in Q3.

 Just pulling his leg.

I believe F1 actually uses dual units for temperature and speed now considering the larger American viewership which is expected to increase even more after the Drive to Survive Netflix series.

Next year we are getting 18 inch wheels.

Could have said 45,72 cm rims. For us Europuns. But then again, nobody even here would understand what size they actually are.

Wasn't Merc really good in the slow speed stuff in S3 Barcelona ?

And there's no use in compromising the setup for the race @Monaco. I say Ham pole/win.

So how did things stack up at the recent Spanish GP? Here's the fastest Sector 3 times for each car in qualifying.

1. Red Bull 26.295
2. Mercedes 26.400
3. Ferrari 26.580
4. Alpine 26.632
5. McLaren 26.782
6. AlphaTauri 26.827
7. Aston Martin 26.923
8. Williams 27.131
9. Alfa Romeo 27.164
10. Haas 27.311

The question is what was the pace of Redbull through S3 when they were using their high downforce config. If I remember correctly their Friday was pretty bad when using that package, swapping to the bendy wing for Sat/Sun.
In FP1 verstappen led hamilton by half a tenth in S3. In FP2 red bulls didn't have any pace for whatever reason (P9-10) and were 1 tenth off in S3 (leclerc was fastest). In FP3 hamilton led verstappen by tenth and a half. In quali it was the other way around. So it really went back and forth from session to session. I'd say there wasn't much in it as a whole.

Plus fp2 had viable reasons for both RBR cars not being fast. It wasn’t that they were slow simply for lack of pace.

Good info 👍

I wouldn’t be confident making a pick, seem like it’s a coin toss.

There is one simple solution - get rid off Monaco GP.

Good Kimi. As becoming older, he even more does not care about politics!

Haha I appreciate that support from a fellow countryman.

Just to clarify though, b2bL44 are just busting each other’s chops.

He’d weep at the majesty of a bald Eagle in real life. I know that.

Thank you for posting that tweet here. Maybe I'll watch that onboard 78 times instead of the race. OK, I'm kidding, but maybe not totally...

They would have by now if it wasn’t Monaco. It’s all about the prestige and the dollar.
