Ferrari really playing down their hopes for the start of the season!
Binotto on testing and Ferrari hopes
In case you missed Mattia Binotto's interview with Sky F1 last night, the Ferrari boss talking about their new car's strengths and weaknesses was certainly an interesting segment.
Ferrari have ditched that mighty straight-line speed from 2019 this year, and as such say they don't have a quick enough car to challenge at the start of the season.
"I think if you compare today's car to the one we had last year, we are certainly faster in cornering, and slower on the straights," he said. "We got what we expect - is that sufficient to be the fastest overall? No. "So it means that the overall speed of the car is not sufficient to be competitive enough and to challenge for the victory at the start of the season."
I did miss this by the way, apologies if you didn't!
