I wonder if he got out of 7th gear on the straight during that run. The onboards I've seen today have all been sub-300km/h on the straight and 7th gear / no DRS selected. Some serious sandbagging going on at the top - comapred to McLaren who appeared to be "on it" during Sainz's 16.8.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

I think it make sense to make some race simulation... in race condition.

Meaning, no DRS, and running low power mode. Because during the season that's what they do, DRS is used when you fight only; and same goes for high engine mode

The C5 never seemed to have worked very well there, leading to only marginally better times than C4 (if at all). But that's probably due to track surface too. I wonder whether C4 already suffers from the track, making the C3/C4 gap smaller.

C4 will be available in Barcelona this season, seems like last year C3 as the softest was a bit conservative.

I thought perhaps Lewis was going to resume his aborted "race simulation" from yesterday... but that is apparently not the case, he is just doing long runs similar to Leclerc:

Good chance RP will be the ones making one of the biggest steps since last year. What with all their... ahem... technical innovation

Which contradicts what Perez said few days before when he said that they have more or less the Melbourne spec here

Ferrari really playing down their hopes for the start of the season!
Binotto on testing and Ferrari hopes
In case you missed Mattia Binotto's interview with Sky F1 last night, the Ferrari boss talking about their new car's strengths and weaknesses was certainly an interesting segment.
Ferrari have ditched that mighty straight-line speed from 2019 this year, and as such say they don't have a quick enough car to challenge at the start of the season.
"I think if you compare today's car to the one we had last year, we are certainly faster in cornering, and slower on the straights," he said. "We got what we expect - is that sufficient to be the fastest overall? No. "So it means that the overall speed of the car is not sufficient to be competitive enough and to challenge for the victory at the start of the season."
I did miss this by the way, apologies if you didn't!

I thought he said they haven't shown their hand (speed) not that the car will be very different?

Perhaps in Melbourne we see Pink W11 :D.
